Money Saving Tips

Use coupons with sale items:

Obviously using grocery coupons will save you some money but if you plan ahead you'll save a lot more money. Look at the weekly circulars the come out and find coupons for items that will be on sale. Or, save the coupons for the items you want to buy and wait for that item to go on sale.

Double or Triple Coupons:

Many stores will double or even triple coupons on certain days. If you can get an item that is on sale with a double (or a triple) coupon, you'll save big. You could even get some items for FREE.

Combine Coupons:

You may think that combining coupons is not allowed but many stores will allow you to use a store coupon and a manufacturers coupon on the same item. This allows you to get a much bigger discount and you can even get some items free.

Be on the Lookout for Rebates:

Some items have rebates. If you get a double coupon when you buy the item, the rebate could make it free or you might even come out ahead. :-)

Stick to Your List:

With careful planning you can get some items for free and save a whole bunch of money on many others. Stick to your list and don't buy any impulse items unless you stuble upon a deal that is simply too good to pass up.

The stores know that people will buy impulse items so many items are sold very inexpensively to get you in the store where they are counting on you to also buy the more expensive items. Well, I think you should disappoint them and just go for the bargains.
